Steve Cocchetto has been a passionate dividend stock investor and writer since 2004.
Steve joined CGOV Asset Management in 2010 and was responsible for researching and selecting investments that were consistent with the firm’s investment philosophy. CGOV was subsequently acquired by Fiera Capital in 2018. While at Fiera Capital Steve was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager and ran the Fiera CGOV U.S. Equity Fund.
Steve began his career in 2004 at RBC Asset Management as an analyst in their Investment Manager Research group. Steve spent four years at RBC before deciding to pursue his MBA.
Steve holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation from the CFA Institute, and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. At Schulich, Steve specialized in the Real Estate and Infrastructure program.
During his free time, Steve is an avid scuba diver, mentor to students entering the investment industry and guest lecturer at Schulich.
